Terms of Service

Effective Date: August 6th, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of chriscaldwellcoaching.com and your engagement of coaching services from Chris Caldwell Coaching/Chris Caldwell ("I," "me," "my"). By booking a session or using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Nature of Coaching Services

Coaching is a collaborative, forward-focused partnership designed to help you clarify goals, explore possibilities, and take action. Coaching is not therapy, counseling, medical care, psychiatric treatment, financial advice, or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for any of those services. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or emergency services.

I am currently certified as a Life Coach by Canada Coach academy and am working toward full ICF ACC credentialing. I make no guarantees about specific outcomes or results from coaching.

2. Eligibility

Coaching services are intended for adults (18+) who have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Booking & Scheduling

  • Discovery calls are complimentary and approximately 20 minutes.

  • Paid sessions are typically 60 minutes, booked through the Site's scheduling system.

  • Please arrive on time; late arrivals may result in a shortened session, as sessions generally end at the scheduled time.

4. Payment

  • Current pricing is listed on the Book a Session page and is stated in Canadian dollars (CAD).

  • Payment is due at the time of booking, processed securely through Squarespace's payment system. I do not directly store your full payment card details.

  • Package pricing (e.g., multi-session bundles) is prepaid and non-transferable to another individual unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled with at least 24 hours notice at no charge.

  • Cancellations made with less notice than this, or missed sessions ("no-shows"), may be charged the full session fee and will forfeit that session]

  • I reserve the right to reschedule a session due to illness or emergency, in which case I will offer the next available time at no additional cost to you.

6. Refunds

  • All sales are final. Single sessions and prepaid packages are non-refundable once purchased, regardless of whether sessions have been used. By booking, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

7. Confidentiality

I keep what you share in coaching sessions confidential, as described in my Privacy Policy, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to prevent serious harm. In turn, I ask that you also respect the confidentiality of any group or shared coaching contexts, if applicable.

8. Client Responsibility

Coaching is a partnership. You acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for your own decisions, choices, and actions, both during and after our sessions.

  • Coaching outcomes depend significantly on your own effort and follow-through.

  • You will communicate openly about your goals, needs, and any concerns about the coaching relationship.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chris Caldwell Coaching is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of coaching services or the Site. Coaching is undertaken at your own discretion and risk.

10. Intellectual Property

Any materials, frameworks, exercises, or resources I provide during coaching are for your personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without written permission.

11. Termination

Either party may end the coaching relationship at any time, for any reason, with notice. Prepaid, unused sessions will be handled according to the Refunds section above.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, regardless of where you access the Site or receive services from.

13. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site or booking of services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
